Very few people get to deliver the work, sell the work, and support the teams doing the work. I’ve done all three.
HCM, payroll, and workforce technology sit at the intersection of systems and people. My career has lived in that space, first implementing the software and now helping organizations make decisions about it.

I started as a lead HCM consultant at Dayforce, learning the parts of SaaS that never appear in demos: timelines, integrations, testing cycles, handoffs, and the space between what is sold and what is possible. I now work as a Client Executive at Align HCM, bridging the space between sales and delivery and helping organizations choose technology with implementation reality in mind.
Underneath it all, I think like an engineer. I studied mechanical engineering at the University of Toronto, which is to say I am interested in how systems behave and why they misbehave. HCM was not the plan, but it fits.
Outside of work, I live with my son and two cats. I read, I write, and I walk, usually with music from the 80s to the 00s.
I am curious about how things work, including us.
